Carlos Freitas MBA , President

A native of Brazil, Carlos began his career in clinical research in 1994 as a CRA with Coromed, Inc. in Troy, New York. Coromed was a CRO specializing in cardiovascular clinical trials and eventually became part of Omnicare Clinical Research. From 1994 through 1998, Carlos managed their Brazilian office and supervised clinical trials throughout the Latin American region. In 1998, upon returning to the Capital Region of New York, he founded Global Clinical Research Consultants, now PCR Device Trials.

He and his staff have extensive experience in device, in vitro
diagnostics, biologics and pharma. Device trial experience includes
working with the industry leaders at the forefront of developing drug
eluting stents. Additional devices include a modular endovascular graft system for abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, an inhalation
device and an erectile dysfunction device.
